Privacy policy
Your outfit photos are private.
This policy explains what Confital collects when you ask for an outfit review or join a waitlist, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective 1 October 2026
What we collect
- Review content: the photos you upload and any occasion, style preference, or note you provide with a review.
- Review results: the AI-generated feedback we create for your request.
- Contact details: your email address only when you choose to join a waitlist or ask to be notified when future human reviews become available. We use it for newsletters and promotions or product-feedback research only if you separately opt in.
- Essential session data: an anonymous browser session identifier used to keep your review private to this browser and to prevent unauthorised access to it.
- Optional measurement: limited usage data when you choose “Allow measurement,” including pages viewed, product actions, and whether a waitlist signup succeeds. We do not send your photos, email address, request ID, notes, or signed image links to Google Analytics or Meta.
How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- create and show your private outfit review;
- keep the review available in the browser session that created it;
- manage the waitlist or send the future human-review updates you requested;
- protect the service and investigate technical problems; and
- understand aggregate product usage and advertising performance when you have opted in to measurement.
Confital does not publish a public feed of uploaded photos or sell personal information.
How long we keep information
Your uploaded photos and review are currently kept so you can revisit the review from the same browser. Automated deletion is not available yet. We will update this policy when a retention and deletion schedule is introduced.
Waitlist details are kept until the relevant launch updates have been sent or you ask us to remove them. This includes updates about future human reviews, which are not available yet. Measurement data follows the retention settings of our Google Analytics and Meta business accounts.
Your choices and rights
You can choose whether to allow optional measurement at any time using the Privacy choices button in the app. If you change your mind, Confital removes its Google Analytics and Meta Pixel cookies from your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to the use of your personal information. You may also be entitled to complain to your local data protection authority.
To ask a privacy question, manage a waitlist subscription, or make a rights request, email privacy@confital.co. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request relates to you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Confital changes. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.
